Here are some ways you can make a difference in the life of a needy child in Kenya and let them know they are not forgotten. You can…

Pray

Prayer is a powerful gift and one that we greatly appreciate. Here are some of our prayer requests:

  1. Pray for the ministry of KCF/KDS.
  2. Pray that each of our students would have the encouragement of a loving sponsor.
  3. Pray for continued peace in Kenya

Workplace giving

Interact with your circle of influence to raise awareness for this worthwhile cause. Host a bake sale or car wash for co-workers, friends or neighbors.  Inquire whether your company provides matching funds or would consider a corporate donation.  You could double your donation! Many companies offer matching donations for your charitable giving. Please inquire with your employer.

Host an African Tea

Host an African Tea in your home to share the ministry of KCF.  Raise awareness, spread the message, and garner monetary support for KCF.  Invite your co-workers, book club, small group, moms group, or tennis team over for tea, cookies and show the excellent KDS documentary. Share you experience – For many of us, awareness regarding the devastating plight of Africa’s children has been life-changing. We are happy to support you with materials and/or a speaker for your event.

Do Something Big

Many of us have been financially blessed and are able to give in a significant way. You may want to consider helping KCF complete the construction of its secondary school or give to the Bernard Sewe Scholarship Fund which helps qualified secondary school graduates continue their studies in colleges and technical schools.
