KCF Prayer Ministry Team
Kinyago-Dandora Schools (KDS) invites you to pray regularly for the events at the school.
Meet Elaine Powell Hooker, KCF's new prayer coordinator. She is married to David, Associate Professor of Art at Wheaton College and is currently a stay at home mom to Abbey, 11, and Sam, 7. She has worked as librarian for 10 years in various capacities, mostly in public libraries. Elaine currently serves in various volunteer capacities at her children's school, her church, and at Wheaton College.
Elaine went on a KCF "Through the Eyes of a Child" mission trip to KDS in May. She says, "One of my favorite things about the ministry of Kenya Children's Fund is what a beautiful partnership it is between Kenyans and Americans who walk together to bring the love of Jesus into the lives of the poorest of the poor. I'm excited that this prayer ministry is an opportunity to deepen and strengthen that partnership."
Elaine will be developing a team of people who will commit to bathing KCF and its leaders in prayer. Receive emergency prayer requests from Kenya, as well as a monthly email outlining praise reports and special requests. You can have a part in strengthening the ministry of KCF and ministering to the people of Kinyago-Dandora. Please consider signing up to pray for the needs of the ministry as we continue to join our hearts with those of our Kenyan friends. What a beautiful partnership.
